Jugendstil Appartement in the heart of Zurich

This beautiful and incredible downtown apartment is the home of an art collector and amateur of beautiful things. The apartment’s ample size allowed us to select a couple of very generous pieces of furniture such as a huge Living Divani gray sofa in the middle of the living room, and the three-meter long wooden Suar dining table for the open dining room. In these two en suite rooms, we added gorgeous aubergine felt chairs from Maxalto, a fluffy silvery rug from Limited Edition, Foscarini and Schottlander lamps. To create a contrast to the antique desk, we hung a sleek Scandinavian bookshelf from String System. The original objects, the cushions from Maison de Vacances, the beautiful curtains and above all the extraordinary art make the room a mix of coolness and sophistication. This applies as well to the rest of the apartment with things such as the huge Meridiani mirrors, a Prouvé kitchen table by Vitra, the poppy red Eames chairs, BTC Lighting lamps, a couple of Gervasoni pieces of furniture and always great paintings reinforcing the personality of each room. The fantastic apartment makes its works of art sublime–or perhaps the other way around!
